Dear Mr. Steward,

I hope this letter finds you thriving and in good spirits. My name is Sterling Reed—a 54-year-old husband to my high school sweetheart, Benita, proud father to a 34-year-old chef, and yes, I’m also the “cat dad” of three mischievous felines. I’m writing to you from Clermont, Florida, where I’ve dedicated over 25 years to the fields of computer engineering and cybersecurity . Beyond my professional passions, I’ve also been a T-7 paraplegic since 1995. Even so, I continue to travel, drive, and live independently. Truly, I see myself as a “wounded lion,” still fierce in spirit, shielded by God, and determined to conquer every challenge laid before me.

I’ve closely followed your journey—from your early days to growing World Wide Technology into an international powerhouse. Your commitment to faith, business integrity, and the upliftment of others has been nothing short of inspirational. It’s clear you lead not just with vision, but also with heart. That kind of leadership exemplifies why I’ve chosen you, Mr. Steward, as the person I’d be honored to partner with for the next big step in my mission.

I’m the founder of BlackWallStreets.store—a robust, multi-vendor e-commerce platform for Black-owned businesses (51% or more). Think of it as a full-service “Amazon-style” marketplace, but designed for us and by us. We plan to launch on May 15, 2025, and our goal is to reflect the spirit of Tulsa’s Black Wall Street and other historic Black business communities that once thrived. Unlike simple “Black directories,” our platform gives vendors the tools, analytics, and visibility necessary to succeed in today’s competitive digital landscape.

What truly sets us apart is our ongoing commitment to giving back. A portion of every vendor’s sales on BlackWallStreets.store is allocated to scholarships, new business grants, and monthly special funding opportunities that participants can apply for. We want each transaction to echo beyond the marketplace—fueling the success of aspiring entrepreneurs, supporting educational goals, and continually reinvesting in our community.

I’ve personally invested $65,000+ of my own funds since February 2023 to develop and launch this marketplace, working with a small team of three to ensure top-tier functionality. But we face hurdles in marketing and credibility—some potential vendors worry it’s too good to be true, and we need influential voices to vouch for us. That’s where you come in.

Mr. Steward, I’m asking you to consider one of the following ways to partner with me:

  1. Financial Backing – Your support could help us secure the resources to hire a 2–5-person team for a full year, covering marketing, infrastructure, and deeper community outreach. I’m more than ready to provide a detailed budget breakdown to illustrate where every dollar will go.

  2. Brand Visibility – A public endorsement from you, or even a simple social media nod, would instantly legitimize our vision in a way no traditional ad campaign could. Your voice, your reach, and your reputation can open doors for us that are currently out of reach.

I know you get countless requests, so I invite you to see my passion firsthand. Please visit DavidPleaseHelp.com, where I’ve already uploaded a personal video message just for you—so you can see my face, hear my voice, and know that behind these words stands a real person who refuses to let physical limitations define his faith or his future.

There, you’ll see how I opened the first free technology school for people with disabilities—of all ages—reflecting my deep-seated drive to empower and uplift those who face significant challenges.

Mr. Steward, I’ve done my research on you—I admire your business acumen, your faith-based leadership style, and your unwavering belief in creating opportunities for communities of color. I believe your story resonates with mine: we both know what it means to overcome barriers and share the desire to bring others along. My hope is that you’ll join me in making BlackWallStreets.store the first of its kind—an inclusive, powerful marketplace that channels economic prosperity back into our own neighborhoods.

I would be honored to speak with you by phone or in person—whatever is more convenient. If you’d like, I’ll happily fly out to meet you, share our vision in greater depth, and answer any questions you might have. I respect your time, so please know I wouldn’t be making this request if I didn’t firmly believe we could accomplish something truly remarkable together.

Thank you for reading this letter. My hope is that you see our connection—two determined souls guided by faith and a desire to uplift. You can help me bring BlackWallStreets.store to life, ensuring that the success we generate reverberates far beyond our platform and into countless communities nationwide.

I look forward to hearing from you soon. May God continue to bless you as you’ve blessed so many others.

With gratitude and relentless determination.
